Sir Walter Scott at the National Portrait Gallery - This page provides links to full-colour images of nine of the fourteen Scott portraits held by the National Portrait Gallery. The featured images are paintings by Sir Edwin Landseer (c.1824), John Graham-Gilbert (1829), and Sir William Allan (1831); the 1820 bust by Sir Francis Leggatt Chantrey; a silhouette (1830-31) by Augustin Edouart; and sketches by Landseer (1821 and 1824), Allan (1831), and William Brockedon (c.1830).
